Situated near the beautiful shores of Lake Superior in north western Ontario, 350 km east of Thunder Bay, we have an underground/open pit;  residential mine site.

Position Description:
 
As members of the Engineering and Geology Group, successful candidates will participate in technical and supervisory activities related to the ongoing development and production of this 10,000 tpd underground and open pit gold mining operation.
Successful candidates will have a background in mine planning, drill and blast design, ventilation, and ground control. The capability to work positively with a team of professional and technical people in a creative, energetic, and changing environment is critical.

Qualifications:

• Preferred qualifications include:
• Post-secondary education in mining discipline
• 1-3 yrs experience at underground operations
• Proven ability to perform in a safe and efficient manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Computer skills including: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access database.
