GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Goldstrike's Process Division has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Metallurgist to join their team:
Responsibilities and Requirements include:
• BS Degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent required
•5-10 years post graduate experience preferred
• Knowldege of principals and methods used in complex metallurgical and processing analysis, hands on practical application and process optimization is required
• Experience with Refractory Gold Processing preferred
• Able to research, analyze and draw conclusions effectively
• Assist with plant sampling, surveys, and research and development
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of metallurgical equipment
• Other duties as assigned
• Proven safety record and ability to support work group in attainment of safety, environmental, equipment protection, and production goals required
• Strong math skills required
• Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
• Effective oral and written communication skills required .
