GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and updating ore seserves/resources and to delineate reserve placement potentials. This will be accomplished through recording and compiling geological data and building geological and reserve models based upon that data. Other duties as assigned.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Geology or Geological Engineering or equivalent required.
• One year minimum experience in ore reserves/resource modeling preferred.
• Drill hole geological/geotechnical experience preferred.
• Ability to identify drill targets to add to reserves preferred.
• Keep current on the progress of the underground drilling program required.
• Team leader. Problem solver and excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Interact with Engineering staff to outline geological consideration that impact the infrastructure of the mine required.
• Write technical reports required.
• Assist in Production Geology activities when necessary required.
• Other duties as assigned.
