GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: Develop then train mobile maintenance technicians in reliability technologies. Conduct regular downtime analysis for critical mobile equipment, including but not limited to, bolters, shotcrete sprayers, shotcrete mixers, jumbos, loaders and haul trucks. Identify, quantify and implement initiatives that will improve overall equipment reliability, safe operation and performance. Provide technical input into maintenance procedures, standards and specifications. Provide guidance for the development of maintenance strategies for all critical mobile equipment fleets. Work with operators and drift technicians to optimize the CLAIR bay activities that support condition monitoring strategies. Facilitate RCM and RCA process for safety and health, environmental, equipment protection and production strategies to improve performance. Coordinate with BGMI, Regional and Corporate groups to assist with the delivery of reliability focused initiatives.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• BS in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Three (3) years experience in reliability field coupled with CMRP certification with SMRP required.
• Three (3) years practical engineer/maintenance experience in a mining application required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and MS Outlook required.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE preferred.
• Familiarity with PM optimization tools and techniques including RCM preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the job required.
