GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include: Successful candidate will direct business improvement teams in all aspects of cultural and financial improvement studies and projects encompassing the various disciplines across the mine site. Direct and market deliverance, discovery, analysis, and implementation of strategic performance goals and targets. Understand and build business improvement models and strategies through the application of Lean/Sigma tools and programs. Draft narrative and collaborative information for the improvement projects, analysis of problem and/or opportunity, problem solving, planning, scheduling, measuring results and utilizing progress tracking tools and instruments. Perform other related duties incidental to formulate a successful business organization.
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in business or related field preferred.
2. Minimum ten (10) years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
3. Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications required: Word, Lean/Sigma tools.
4. Strong communication skills – oral and written required.
5. Ability to manage members of teams as well as self required.
6. Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required.
