The Hemlo Operations BARRICK GOLD company located near Marathon in Northwestern Ontario presently requires the following:
SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
As a member of the Engineering Department, you will participate in technical activities related to the ongoing development and production of underground gold mining operations. You will have demonstrated the ability to assume increasing levels of responsibility and possess a strong background in underground design, financial evaluations, and project implementation. The capability to work positively with a team of professional and technical people in a creative, energetic environment is critical.
Preferred qualifications include:
Minimum five years of progressive technical experience
Professional Engineer status or eligibility;
Ability to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong computer skills (EPS, Vulcan, Access & AutoCAD);
Previous Project design/evaluation/implementation experience.
